About Inscript Keyboard Layout
Inscript (Indian Script) is the standard keyboard layout developed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for typing Indian languages including Hindi. It is the official layout used in government typing examinations such as CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) and SSC CHSL Hindi typing skill test.
The Mangal font is the standard Unicode Devanagari font used in government offices and exams. Unlike older ISCII-based fonts, Mangal uses standard Unicode code points making the text portable and searchable.
